Jackson Swearer Named Chairman of SCKEDD Board, Strengthening Partnership with StartUp Hutch

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — StartUp Hutch announced today that Jackson Swearer, Executive Director, has been appointed a chairman of the South Central Kansas Economic Development District (SCKEDD) board. This facilitates a deepening partnership between StartUp Hutch and SCKEDD, both dedicated to supporting small businesses and fostering economic growth in the region. 

Jackson Swearer expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, stating, “I am honored to serve as a chairman of the SCKEDD board. Our partnership with SCKEDD has been instrumental in providing support to small businesses in our region. Together, we are committed to driving economic development and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs. I look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to enhance the business landscape in south-central Kansas.”

Their initiatives include community grants, weatherization grants, and a robust offering of small business loans, making them an important partner for StartUp Hutch.
